The book "The Diamond and the Boy: the Creation of Diamonds & the Life of H. Tracy Hall" is a parallel narration of the natural creation of diamonds and the biography of H. Tracy Hall. The illustrations are enjoyable; however, the parallel structure makes the story complicated. It is hard to understand especially for the young audience. It seems like the story of H. Tracy Hall has been manipulated and sophisticated in order to fit the same structure as a creation of a diamond. If you are looking for a book to learn something this book is not the best choice, but if you are looking for a new literary approach to science and history you can check it out.
