International SUNday

International Sunday is held annually on the Sunday nearest to the day with the most hours of sunlight during the year. On this special day we as Pink STREAM went to North Carolina Natural Sciences Museum in Raleigh, North Carolina. There was a conference about sun, planets, exoplanets, and of course our planet Earth. We learned a lo of interesting things. Even they showed the chart of the next solar eclipse. It will be on 8 April, 2024, almost 6 years later. You should look at the chart and book hotels from the area as soon as possible. Don't miss it.

After all the information we saw the large red ball, our sun, with a telescope. It was a great experience.  Then we had an opportunity to visit the astrology lab and observe their scientific work and meet with the scientists who work on a special program for visualizing all the stars in the Milky Way Galaxy. They explained their projects to us i details and it was so cool.

Visit NC Natural Sciences Museum even if it is not International Sunday, you will still find very cool stuff. Also you can e a volunteer and be closer with the animals and experiments.

Have fun & learn more.
